First day of school


Today was the first day of school for the bigger kids. I naively thought that I would finally get the chance to actually sew something. Ha! 


He pretty much wanted me to carry him all day long. Oh well, sewing is so overrated. I'd much rather be vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing toilets and my all time favorite...laundry. Piles of it!

    After years of homeschooling my oldest 2 girls, my husband and I decided to let them attend a small private school this year. I thought - all right! I'm going to have so much free time and I'll get all kinds of sewing and knitting done. It ain't happenin'. Can I tell you? I live for nap time. :)
