I finally made a pair of Big Butt Pants from Made By Rae. I love this pattern. It's designed to fit cloth diapers which is such a bonus. finally a pant that I don't need to alter.
I just need to figure out the back panel. It actually is more puckered than the photo shows. They are still totally wearable so I'm happy. Since I've been in a bit of a sewing slump it's nice to have something completed.

Yeah! I have sewn two pairs and have three more sets of fabric picked out, waiting in the wings. I get complements on them every single time we go out. They're so cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute. I recently got the easy sew pants you recommend and since you have boys I wanted to ask if you think the bell is too big. It seems a little girlie. Have you altered the pattern at all? Iwas thinking of narrowing them...

Clover, they are a little feminine. It doesn't help that anything I put Vinny in receives comments like "Awwww, she's so cute". Maybe the next pair I make I'll taper a bit! It also doesn't help that the fabric choices out there are mostly pretty girl friendly.
