So the other day when I picked up Rocco from Summer school Vinny screamed "pee pee" (one of his few words) really loud. At first I got real excited, like helloooooo, this is certainly a good sign for the potty training. The excitement ended when I saw he was pointing at this sign.
Uh, yes that kind of looks like someone sitting on the potty. Sort of. This story actually reminds me about the time Rocco embarrassed the shit out of me. Read it and we can all collectively go hide under a rock together because I know you will feel for me on this one.
p.s. I do have myself a fancy schmancy handicap placard for my car thankyouverymuch since I am the proud owner of one badass blind child.

Similar thing here with the potty training. Our son signs (but is fully hearing, we use it to support his language development). Every time we would get back from the supermarket he would be signing "toilet" when we passed the pond. So I was under the impression he needed to go, I thought it was maybe the large amount of water ;). But then, later, much later, I found out he was using a very similar sign for "duck" :D. I don't like thinking back of all the times I hurried back home to get him on the toilet ;).
Freakin' love you Sascha! :)
Is it wrong that I thought that story was hilarious?
They are boys! What can you do? I think everyone understands. And it does kind of look like a guy on a potty ...
My DD has so far pointed out a "big mommy" in a restaurant and told my mother that she has "big pants." I feel you.
