Remember this outfit?
I can't for the life of me find where I originally blogged about it.
I seriously loved it enough to make another one. The top got stained and the pants are getting a little snug so...
Here is version number two. I made the pants exactly the same. I can't tell you how many people comment on these. I just love Heather Ross fabric so much. I didn't have the same fabric for the top which is fine because it actually wasn't as soft as the second version. I did use the same knit for the trim. The blue knit I actually had laying around and wonder why I didn't make the top with this originally.
The only bummer is that I actually made a lap tee first but ruined it when I tried to iron on some fishies with transfer paper.
I had scanned a swatch of the pant fabric and printed it out onto transfer paper from this fabulous web site. I usually love this product (it's better than the kind from craft stores) so I'm thinking it's user error. The middle fish turned out perfect but all the rest look like poop (I'm trying to cut down on my unruly mouth).
So there you have it. Wait, the hooded top is made from the Hoodie pattern by Lil Blue Boo. Great fit and easy to make. Edited: I forgot to mention my favoritest pants the Easy Fit Pants!

Do you have a tutorial for the pants? I am doing a sew along for the hoodie, but I would love to be able to make matching pants to go with it.
Crap, I totally forgot to mention these pants are my favorite... Easy Fit Pants from the Scientific Seamstress. I've made about a dozen.
This outfit is how I found your blog in the first place! I saw it featured somewhere and then didn't save the link. And then I dreamed of that fabric, those pants, the color combo. Searched for that fabric EVERYWHERE. Became obsessed. It's embarrassing how long I spent trying to re-find the photo, and once found, I was happy that it led me to the creator. I'm so glad that I found your blog! :)
yep. those pants totally freaking rock.
This is the cutest! What if you do an iron on another piece of fabric and then sew it like a patch over the messed up iron on?
so cute and comfy looking!
So, so cute!
Um, yeah. I loved this the first time around, and I love it now. (LOL. Like Kimberly this outfit is what brought me to your blog. Love love love the fabric!!) Hooray for second chances!
BTW, I'm sorry you think your fishes look like poop. :( I hope future ones are, well, less poopish.
