Gnomes

I have a quite a collection of fabric that I really don't want to use, but I finally decided it's doing me no good just sitting on a shelf.

To ease myself into the idea of actually using the hoarded fabric I used a teeny bit of my Heather Ross Gnome fabric to make a little zipper pouch.

I forgot to use interfacing so it's a little floppy and now I have hives because I used fabric from the stash of untouchables. Once I relax a bit I'll think about cutting into some Mendocino.

love it! yes, I'm finally telling myself that I need to use up that precious fabric and quit being so crazy about it. Especially the flea market fancy scraps I have (a lot easier knowing that it's being reprinted). But anyway, whatever you make with your untouchables will be amazing and you'll enjoy it so much more than if it's on a shelf. :)

Dude. I have a yard of almost every single Mendocino print, and I can't make myself cut it! I also have some purple echino cards that I can't bear to cut. We're pathetic.

Ha - It's a bit silly isn't it... but I understand you! I never think I will do the fabric justice with what I make it into... so it too sits on the self. Must, must get over it! Gorgeous little pouch! You definitely did that gorgeous fabric justice :) x

I've moved about 5 times with fabric that is never touched because its just too precious. Ironically enough when we got flooded last year a lot of it was damaged and I had to throw it out -_- typical.
