Feeling the Love

Oh my! That's all I can say right now. Thanks for all the love. When Sewmamasew contacted me about doing a tutorial I was all "wha? Me? Um yea right". Good thing the theme was baby shower because I have a few pregnant friends right now and I have been brainstorming. The "Handy Harness" on the other hand was born out of sheer frustration. My Mini-Houdini is a shopping terror.

Also... in case you didn't notice, my site looks a little different. It's not totally complete yet, but I'm thrilled. It's very "me".

And if you haven't already entered the fantabulous giveaway please go and leave me a comment here to enter to win one of two fantabulous baby carriers.

I've listed a few carriers in my shop and I'm working on a more plus a couple of harnesses, but if you can sew even a bit, give the pattern a try. It's really not that hard at all.  I'm always here if you have any questions.

Oh Sascha the Heather Ross fabric looks killer on it. I am absolutely trying my hand at making one of these. I'm so stoked! And your banner is incredible and it's so right up my alley. Perfection!

Kimberly, I think the carrier is even easier to sew. Just takes three times longer but it's not as fiddly!

I have a Houdini too! I am about refashion my too tight pouch sling into pea pod, (as I have given my favorite mei tai away :( ) and though I have always been one to scoff at kid leashes, my husband was just talking about getting one the other day after a very scary shopping cart moment. Thank you so much!! is there a flikr group? I'd love to share with you when i'm done.

Thank you so much for the Handy Harness tutorial! I made one yesterday and when my husband came home he couldn't believe it wasn't store bought! And when we went to the store it absolutely worked! My little houdini couldn't even fool the Target shopping carts! Even if you don't have a houdini this harness is great for little ones. I always found the shopping cart straps were in his arm pits and that definitely can't be comfy.
