It works!

... Thanks  to everyone that has left such lovely comments. It's so nice to hear from my readers. I love to hear from all of you. The play table is a success!

Complete with vroom vroom noises! Maybe it will keep that one busy so I can finish the matching pants to that shirt he's wearing.

Sascha please take us on a house tour someday. Your home has such beautiful, interesting, antique pieces that I need to see more of. And like, what the HELL is that giant woven pouf thing in the background? I'm so intrigued.

Kimberly, I never thought about what my backround photos might look like to someone who hasn't been in my house. That crazy pouf thing does indeed look weird. It's actually an armchair that matches the couch, both of which I do not like very much! The couch has been waiting new cushions for 12 years. Seriously. They are naked and we have random fabric covering them. The fabric keeps falling off on the floor. It's bad I tell you. I have the fabric somewhere and even the extra long zippers, but it's a project that requires the help of my mom. Even though I hate the couch, I do love some things in that whole set up. My dad was an antique dealer. If I could start all over I would love to have a mid-century modern look with some old pieces scattered about. But that's only if I win Le Lottery.

An antique dealer! Interesting. I also love the mid-century modern look...I love many looks, including many of the shots from your beautiful home (Moroccan maybe?).

Kimberly, very Moroccan indeed. The chest in the background is Thai or Indian depending on who you ask :) It's definitely an eclectic work in progress around here. It's definitely multicultural in our house.
