I bought Rae's Flashback Skinny Tee pattern on Friday and I love it!
I kind of promised myself that for this entire week of sewing I wouldn't purchase any new fabric so there will be a lot of fabric this week that you've seen here before.
I've made t shirts with both these fabrics before. The next two are fabric I've had for a while but I haven't made anything with these fabrics before.
I'm glad I set aside the dolls for this week. It's been so long since I've sat down and pumped out clothes like this. I have a pair of long shorts cut out in a totally inappropriate toddler color... white. What was I thinking? Well, I wanted to get rid of the fabric and I am doing a freezer paper stencil on it and white was the only color that worked for the design I am using.
Well I'm off to the machines. It's a minimum day at school so the kids will be home early. I wanted to call the school and ask them if they knew that it was Kids Clothing Week Challenge. How rude!

Isn't that pattern awesome?? Love your fabrics. Happy KCWC-ing!
Ooo I like that second fabric the best. Must try this pattern. Also, didn't we have a chat about white fabric and toddlers...come on Sascha! Had a chuckle about your comment on 'don't they know its KCWC?'. I'm having the same thing, no-one quite 'gets' it unless they're doing it. Geez.
Yeah, my clients clearly did not get the memo about KCWC. Pesky job, always getting in the way of sewing. Sheesh.
I'm just getting started on this pattern as well! I'm so excited!
Omg those shirts are so cute! Love the second shirt's fabric SO MUCH!
I really want that tee pattern but I am determined to make the perfect tee pattern for Vince myself.
Until I give up and buy that pattern...
Love the shirts too! I've been eyeing the pattern but have yet to get it. Glad to hear you like it too!
If you've given the pattern your seal of approval, then it's a must for me! I've really wanted to try another t-shirt pattern. I haven't bought fabric in...I think four, maybe five months now. Possibly even six. And just gave my sister four huge paper sacks of fabric. I'm dying to look at what's out there right now but I have more fabric than I could use in a lifetime! Like that you just used what was in your stash.
I love these! I wish I had an easier time sewing knits! I'll have to give it another go...
