I actually made a little progress in my ruffle project. It wasn't fun. 125 inches of piping sandwiched between ruffles and upholstery weight fabric did not go well on my little home sewing machine. After ripping it out 3 times I cried uncle and headed over to my mom's house. She has industrial sewing machines (picture Project Runway) and the task was done. Simple.
Now I need to trim and pick thread from all the ripping. That sounds like fun.
