On a seriously adorable note Vincenzo (that's what I'm calling the little beast these days) loves to dance to music. Any music. The best is when I put on my old skool Doobie Brothers and he sits on the floor bouncing and spinning in circles. At least I hope it's dancing and not some form of old fogey music choice revolt. Maybe tomorrow I'll play him some *Justin Bieber.
*I just had to Google that one. I don't listen to the current stuff especially what the young folk are listening to.
On a total side note: I am burning a hole in my ass sitting around purchasing PDF sewing patterns online that I only hope to get to one day (I'm up to 7 so far), trolling the sewing blogs and spending any free moment NOT sewing. How are you guys spending the dog days of Summer?

Oh do tell - which patterns did you buy? I'm 80% sure I'm going to buy a knitting pattern, which is a big deal for me. There are so many free ones out there, it's hard to justify it. Other than that, I am trying to quick sew up a music class blouse and skirt for Blue's first day of school Monday. Ack!
Good luck with your little Houdidi. I never had that sort of problem. And my kids? At that age one loved the Blue Danube and the other loved ragtime.
It's a good thing he's cute...
I too, am not sewing. Organizing, planning, but no actual sewing. Must get butt in gear!
We call my little girl "monster." It's the most appropriate nickname I could come up with. We could have a playdate from hell - if I ever decide to take them up to the aquarium! How fun!!
And seriously, how can I claim to sew if I spend more time THINKING about what to do, rather than actually doing it. Why are blogs so rad!?! I think I'll go re-arrange my fabric! ha!
:)
Uh...the similarities here are freaking me out! My babe has recently discovered and is now obsessed with the toilet and easily rips out those stupid outlet covers. And I am also going crazy with the PDF patterns. I recently purchased Amy's re-issued mail order and Rae's big butt baby pants...hopefully I'll actually get around to sewing something once I figure out how to do it!
fun stuff those kiddos get into! And I had to laugh at your comment about buying sewing patterns. Someday I'll wise up and spend the money on a babysitter so I can sew, instead of just buying patterns I'll never get around to using!
I can totally relate. Here I am, not sewing at this moment.
Nap times must not under any circumstances be interrupted or cut short, else havoc will run mama from the roost. However, your Vincenzo is adorable, no matter how clever he is. (My 20 month old has yet to master outlet covers and baby gates. I'll count my blessings. Oh, and I'm not bragging. I'm just saying that you might have spawned one ingenious little beastie.)
